This ashtray/dish is 4 x 3 inches in size and is made with clay from my backyard in Vermont and thrown by hand on my battery powered wheel after which I added the tongue and gave it the mouth shape. It's glazed with peach red and white underglazes and a a clear overglaze. This is the most proffessional looking piece I've managed to produce with my backyard clay.
