I absolutely love this Mug and it's so far removed from my normal way of glazing my pieces. I have been really uninspired and down recently and honestly a lot of this work was just mimetic and instinctual because I really just needed to see some pretty things. I feel like the world has been so ugly and convoluted that I just wanted to make some simply pretty things. I hope you find this piece as relaxing and special as I do. 
 
This piece was made with pre-processed clay meaning it’s food safe!
 
I hope the fluid figures that flow into each other provide as much meaning and peace of mind as they do for me. The way the lead into each other, seemingly creating new figures out of the already existing ones is a representation of all of the lives we encounter, touch and change just by existing, further proving that we are all apart of the making of each other.
