As spring approaches I can't help but think about how soon I'll be surrounded by the tall grass here in the Prarie Lands of Nebraska. These small pieces highlight the often-overlooked beauty of these endangered, sacred, and historical lands. I did not plan for these pieces but they planned themselves. I glazed two cups first then created the background of the painting and realized the third cup I created the following day also was in conversation with these works. This small set can show all of you just how seamless ideas can spread from one medium to the next in my world. Although I don't always give you as my audience, the full picture, I hope this collection gives you a window into just how consuming these concepts can become.

I only share a percentage of what I do with you and I hope these pieces help you better realize how much crossover can happen in a day.
