DESCRIPTION: The last time I made a necklace was for myself back in December. I wrote enough on a rectangle and it has become the piece I wear everyday because “I’ve has about and I am.” I think heavily about the word I chose to adorn my body with. It feels as if it’s my one chance to say what I want to the world without ever having to open up my mouth. I’ve certainly heard it all after wearing this piece for 8 months and I felt it was time for a change. Thus, “STAY” came to be. It is rare that I share the designs I create for myself with others but I thought of a handful of us across this big rock connected by our mantra “STAY.”
