DESCRIPTION: It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with the inside of this piece. One day I picked up this piece and covered the outside with all the herbage you see. This was the first time I explored all the ways in which I could create and represent different plant types with just a few dots and lines. I carried these patterns into nearly every other piece I've picked up since and I am certain it's about to make it's way into my paintings very soon! Eventually I decided I wanted to keep this bowl simple and really give these simple  subtlelties the space to breathe and thus the attention they deserve.
